What is Polished Concrete?
Transform common, gray concrete into polished perfection by grinding the slab with industrial
grade diamonds and using chemical densifiers to create a high gloss floor thats rock solid.
Color may be added in one or more shades for a more decorative appearance. The most
common application for this is acid staining or a dye. Finished polishes can be of 3 levels of
sheen; matte, semi-gloss or, high gloss depending on the clients preference.
Many of our commercial clients have reported a reduction up to 30% of their lighting due to the
reflective quality of our polished floors. Though high gloss concrete appears extremely shiny,
they have proved to be safe by various conducted "slip tests". If safety, in this matter, is of
concern there are products that can be added to your regular maintenance routine to add texture
in any area you choose.
